A 50-100-word rationale for why you selected this book, including a discussion of the demonstrated success of the leader | I chose this book because Helen Keller speaks about her life and what she had to endure being blind, deaf and mute, She spent many years lecturing on behalf of the blind and deaf while promoting optimism and the brighter side of life. Helen Keller was a transformational leader who wanted to help the world through positive actions she traveled the world working on behalf of the blind. Helen Keller demonstrated strong willpower, determination, and perseverance she became an advocate for the physically disabled. Helen lead by example from what she had to go through to overcome challenges. She decided to take a stand and use her knowledge to help others with their life. Because of the challenges she was faced she was inspired to help raise awareness, money, and support for the blind. She wanted to prove that handicapped individuals can be independent. Helen Keller inspired people with disabilities because she was persistent and challenged the lives of people with visual impairments by bringing courage and hope.
